Hi, I’m Rita—a Toronto-based web designer creating thoughtful websites for businesses to take their best foot forward online.
rita designs started as a creative outlet: a place for me to explore design, build ideas from the ground up, and make things that felt both beautiful and useful. It quickly became something more. I saw how many great businesses were relying on websites that no longer reflected the quality of their work, the care behind their service, or where they wanted to go next.
That’s where I come in. I work with business owners to turn what makes their business special into a clear, considered online presence—one that feels like them, but more polished, confident, and easy to navigate.
I believe a website should do more than look good. It should help people understand what you offer, build trust before they ever get in touch, and make the next step feel obvious. It should support your business quietly in the background, while still giving you the freedom to update and grow it as things change.
My goal is simple: to create a website you’re proud to send people to.

I build websites in Squarespace because I believe your website should be yours to manage—not something you’re locked out of the moment it launches.
Once we’re finished, you’ll have a polished, professional site and the confidence to make everyday updates yourself: change a photo, update your services, add a new testimonial, or share what’s new—without needing to pay a designer every time.
Of course, if you’d rather leave the updates to me, I’m always here. But you shouldn’t have to rely on ongoing monthly support just to keep your own website current.
